Carriages

In 1990, three old wooden-paneled railcars that had once served in Helsinki’s local transport departed from Finland for England. There, the carriages underwent extensive refurbishment, which was completed in September 1996. The carriages returned to Finland in November 1996.

The result was three unique restaurant carriages, designed in the spirit of the Orient Express: a café carriage, a bar/cafe carriage, and a salon carriage.
